Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Rookeyz Jobs SRL collects, uses, and protects your data when you use The Good Place, in compliance with the EU GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA (U.S.), PIPEDA (Canada), and Australian Privacy Act 1988.

- Photos, videos, or written messages you upload.
- Details provided through Glimmer request forms.
- Contact details (name, email) if you choose to share them.
b. Automatically Collected Data
- Device type, operating system, and usage data for technical performance.
- QR code scan logs (to associate your card or event participation).
We do not use invasive advertising cookies or sell personal data.
3. How We Use Your Data
We process your data to:
- Enable QR scanning, card collection, and Glimmer creation.
- Display and store your uploaded media.
- Communicate with you regarding your submissions or requests.
- Improve the App’s performance, stability, and security.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data under:
Consent — when you upload media or submit forms.
Contractual necessity — to provide the App’s core functions.
Legitimate interest — for security, analytics, and service improvement.

5. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the service or until you delete it.
When you delete a card, Glimmer, or account, all associated personal data and media are permanently erased within 30 days.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data.
We share it only with trusted service providers that help us operate the App under GDPR-compliant data processing agreements.
These include: Cloud hosting and analytics providers (for secure storage and functionality).
Google Firebase — our backend infrastructure provider, used for authentication, database management, cloud storage, and analytics.
Firebase is operated by Google Ireland Ltd. (for EEA and UK users) and Google LLC elsewhere.
Firebase complies with the EU GDPR, UK GDPR, and other international privacy frameworks.
Data may be processed outside the EEA under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.
